Personal Space

Early morning exercise along the Venice boardwalk in West Los Angeles, a place for the introverts and extroverts to share the fresh air and get some me time.
10.5 million people now live in Los Angeles County alone, 22.4 million in Southern California from Ventura to San Diego.
After thirty plus years on the Central Coast I spent time in a town I hardly recognize, with friends and long lost classmates. It was a joy to see them all.
An unusual assignment I gave myself was to photograph the people finding some personal space.
At first I was a bit overwhelmed,  now I see the beauty and grace in all of it, definitely a well choreographed morning ritual with a wonderful feeling of individuality and tolerance and willingness to share.
That's a good thing these days.
Enjoy.
