Northern California Trees

Thanksgiving weekend in and around Ukiah in Mendocino County was gorgeous. Lots of fall color after the cooler temperatures and rains. Here are just a few...

In Memory

Two weeks ago my good friend passed away. Last Sunday afternoon at his memorial celebration we laid wreaths on the ocean, said our goodbyes, and turned to see a small rainbow, as if he was letting us know he was still there with us, and still laughing.
That evening as I walked on the ridge above my house the sun set and another light show appeared, this time it included the moonrise. The image I took has not been "Photoshopped" the colors are as true as I saw them, and somewhere Steve is looking back and laughing. This one's in memory of Steve Richardson.

Moonrise and Rainbow,  Cambria
lives on the Central Coast of California. These photographs are an attempt to share the story of a place, a person, a moment as it happens. Sit back, take a deep breath, and spend some time enjoying the images.
